OVERVIEW
The Roadmaster RM272 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions of the vehicle.
The tire ensures a lengthened tread life. The durable high scrub tread compound and the symmetric tread design work together to offer a slower even tread wear. The durable compound offers wear and damage resistance, in other words, it slows the tread wear rate down significantly and prevents cuts and punctures from harming the casing. The rounded and closed shoulder pattern optimizes the tire’s road contact. This manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area, resisting irregular tread wear formations. The special stone ejecting ribs also protect the tread area. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, avoiding stone retention from damaging the tire and shortening its service life.
The model guarantees excellent controllability. The tread design maintains the tire’s road contact at all times with its symmetric ribbed pattern. The tread features solid and closed shoulder ribs and three continuous center ribs that keep their road contact throughout the tire’s performance. In this manner, the model upgrades its steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes quicker and more accurate in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. This enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather.
The RM272 offers great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design and the durable tire compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. They increase the grip the tire has on the road surface with the tread elements’ siping detail. They increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year and keep the tire’s constant road contact to promote a safer performance. The compound is capable of maintaining the tire’s flexible traction all year, without allowing the compound rubber to lose its flexibility. The circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. They avoid hydroplaning and increase the wet and winter weather traction.
